We are seeking a Control Panel Administrator to join a busy operational team in York, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and logistics process.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring goods are accurately received, stored, processed and dispatched in line with operational requirements and schedules.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReceive incoming goods and verify shipments against delivery documentation, checking material numbers, descriptions and quantities.\nInspect deliveries for visible damage and accurately report any discrepancies.\nSafely operate transport equipment, including hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts (where qualified).\nCapture and maintain accurate records within relevant data processing systems.\nManage the acceptance, storage, picking and movement of goods within warehouse locations.\nSupport stock control activities, including regular inventory checks and stock maintenance.\nAssemble customer and internal deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness against delivery notes.\nPackage goods in line with shipping instructions, dispatch methods and relevant compliance requirements, including Dangerous Goods regulations where applicable.\nPrepare and attach the correct shipping documentation to outbound shipments.\nCoordinate and complete internal and external transport activities using appropriate transportation methods.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nPrevious experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nGood IT skills and experience using warehouse management or inventory systems.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting.\nExcellent organisational and communication skills.\nForklift licence or relevant material handling experience would be advantageous.\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\n✅ 6-month contract opportunity\n ✅ Competitive pay\n ✅ Structured 4 on, 4 off shift pattern\n ✅ Opportunity to work within a professional and supportive team environment\n\nIf you're ready to bring your logistics expertise to a dynamic operation, we'd love to hear from you.
