Press Brake Operator\n\nElectronics Manufacturing | Long term Opportunity\n\nWe are currently recruiting Press Brake Operators to join a busy, modern manufacturing facility supplying components to the electronics industry. This is a long term opportunity offering consistent, repeat work, with the potential to progress from temporary to permanent employment.\n\nPrevious CNC Press Brake / CNC folding experience is preferred, but full training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and coming from a Sheetmetal background.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperating CNC Press Brake machinery (training provided where required)\nWorking with sheet metal ranging from 0.7mm to 3mm thickness\nProducing high quality, repeat parts with excellent accuracy\nInterpreting basic engineering drawings\nWorking collaboratively as part of a production team\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nEssential\n\nReliable, punctual, and keen to learn\nStrong team player\nGood attention to detail\n\nDesirable\n\nPrevious CNC folding / CNC Press Brake experience\nFabrication or sheet‑metal background\nExperience in a manufacturing or engineering environment\n\nWorking Environment\n\nModern facility with new machinery\nStable workload with a high volume of repeat work\nProducts manufactured exclusively for the electronics industry\n\nPay Rates & Working Hours\n\nPay Rates (PAYE)\n\n£15.00 - £16.00 per hour\nPlus holiday pay: £1.81 - £1.93 per hour\nHoliday pay can be accrued or taken in advance\nRates negotiable depending on experience\n\nDay Shift\n\nMonday to Thursday\n07:00 - 17:30\n40 hours per week\n30‑minute unpaid lunch break\n\nNight Shift\n\nMonday to Thursday\n18:30 - 06:30\n40 hours per week\nPaid at x1.33 hourly rate (night shift premium)\n\nOvertime\n\nFridays available\nFirst 8 hours paid at x1.5\nOver 8 hours paid at x2
